More than 600 grams of cocaine and other drugs seized in Gatineau and Ottawa raids

Searches targeting addresses in Gatineau and Ottawa led to the seizure of a large quantity of narcotics, money, 3D printers, and a vehicle, closing a months-long investigation aimed at ending drug trafficking activities in Gatineau.
Investigators from the Gatineau Police insider crime section raided a residence in the Plateau sector along with other arrests on the Ottawa side on the morning of August 6,
The raid permitted the seizure of more than 600 grams of cocaine along with other drugs and two 3D printers used to create firearms fires, two of which were found on site. Police also seized thousands in Canadian currency, equipment used in the production and trafficking of narcotics, as well as the vehicle suspected to be used to commit the offences.
A man was arrested and later released. He was set to appear before the Gatineau courthouse at a later date to face several charges related to narcotics and firearms.
