Gatineau's 2024-2025 performance season: celebration of artistic diversity

Renowned and emerging artists will grace the stages of Gatineau's performance venues, promising an exciting season for intimate show enthusiasts. For the 2024-2025 season, Théâtre de l'Île, Salle Jean-Despréz, and Cabaret La Basoche will feature 63 diverse and carefully selected shows.
Among the artists scheduled to perform at Salle Jean-Despréz and Cabaret La Basoche are Angel Forrest, Avec pas d'casque, Frais Dispo, Gilles Valiquette, Jacques Michel (celebrating 60 years of his career), Jeanne Côté, Joe Bocan, Jourdan Thibodeaux et les Rôdailleurs, Les sœurs Boulay, Marc Déry, Marie-Pierre Arthur, Maude Audet, Michel Faubert and Bernard Falaise, Pierre Flynn, Sylvie DesGroseilliers, Tire le coyote, Willows, and many more. Théâtre de l'Île's lineup includes Adieu, je reste, Toi et Soie, Cinq étoiles, Traces d'étoiles, Pain blanc, and Les voisins.
Gatineau is committed to making culture accessible to all, giving prominence to local artists, women artists, and those from diverse cultural backgrounds in its programming. The city holds a strong position in Quebec's performing arts market and is recognized as a multidisciplinary presenter by the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec. Gatineau collaborates closely with the cultural community and various regional partners, including the National Arts Centre, Alliance Française Ottawa, and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec.

Ticket prices for regular shows range from $12 to $45, inclusive of taxes, with prices adjusted based on the audience, including children, students, adults, and seniors. Tickets can be purchased on the Réseau Ovation website, with no service fees for in-person purchases. The complete programming for the three venues is available online at gatineau.ca/spectacles.
