Croquez l’Outaouais returns with the 6th edition of LPG Christmas Market

Presented by the Table agroalimentaire de l’Outaouais (TAO), the LPG Christmas Market, 100% Croquez l’Outaouais brings together local artisans and producers to sell their goods at various kiosks. The 6th edition of the market gives residents the opportunity to support and discover local artisans and producers this holiday season.
The market, located in les Promenades Gatineau (1100 boulevard Maloney Ouest), opened on November 24 and will run until December 24. There are 12 participating businesses selling various goods including chocolates, well-being products, wines, jams, and pastries for market goers to discover.
“At the Table agroalimentaire de l’Outaouais, we are excited and proud to organize for a 6th year the LPG Christmas Market, 100% Croquez l’Outaouais, an important showcase for local businesses and their products,” said Chantale Vaillancourt, president of the TAO. “Our goal: create a space to gather a range of regional products to support local purchasing at a time of year characterized by generosity, food, and joy. To drink, eat, and experience the Outaouais visit us this holiday season!”
The participating businesses are: Amandes de Maribel, Délices Sublimes, Domaine de L’Ange-Gardien, Domaine Mont-Vézeau, Érablière Bo-Sirop, Ferme Pure Conscience, Miellerie Sempels Honey, Miss Marmelades, Monsieur Limonade, Rochef Chocolatier, Savonnerie Saponaria, and Verger Double Attitude Orchard.
TAO in collaboration with Tourisme Outaouais is offering a box of goods called Boîte 100 % locale – Temps des Fêtes, from local businesses participating in the market. The boxes, available in limited quantities, are priced at $79 and can be purchased at the Christmas market or online. Online orders will be ready for pickup starting December 19 at one of the six following locations: Chez Gargantini, Domaine de L’Ange-Gardien, Le Brasse-Camarade, Le Marché de l’Outaouais or Vignoble Petit Chariot Rouge. Croquez l'Outaouais! is an initiative created by TAO over 10 years ago to help consumers to discover and savour local products and to support regional businesses. TAO is a non-profit organization whose role is to coordinate the development of the regional agri-food sector.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food allocated $25,000 towards this initiative through their Program to support the development of agriculture and agri-food in the regions.
